Sorry I haven’t been posting lately because I’ve been extremely busy during the summer holidays so far. Lots has happened on Club Penguin like the return of Rockhopper, new clothes, a new play, a scavanger hunt for a new igloo design, a new Auqa Grabber (told you the hint for the new level would be a sea monster!) and more. I will carry on posting as usual from now unless I become busy again.

Music Jam 2008

The Music Jam 2008 is finally here! Each of the rooms in CP has a different theme. The new game in the Night Club is not called Mix Master anymore, but DJ3K. Here is where the free items are:

The official Music Jam 2008 t-shirt is in the Plaza.

The maracas (a returning item) are at the Cove.

At the bottom of evry room’s page there is an ‘Applause’ button that you can press to cheer for any fab musicians!

At the Snow Forts there is a stall that is selling exclusive Music Jam 2008 merchandise. There’s also a secret room, but to get into it you have to be a member and buy the VIP/Backstage pass in the picture below:

The room is Backstage. To get to it, go to the Dock, make sure you have bought your VIP pass first. You don’t have to be wearing it to get into the room. Go to the door that says VIPs Only above it to get to Backstage:

Go over to the Selling These sign and you can buy loads of instruments. There is a cheat for this exclusive catalog! Click the i in Music Catalog to get the red electric guitar:

The green puffle is back in the Nigh Club now so you can play hockey again!

And lastly, there is a snowcart in the wall at the Pizza Parlour plus a load of other strange and super things!

Game Update, New Featured Igloo and new Penguin Poll

New Game Due July 25th!

The new game is due to be launched on July 25th along with the start of the first ever CP music festival, Music Jam 2008! I think it’s being called Mix Master. Here is a picture from CP’s latest What’s New Blog:

What’s Happening in clubpenguin.com’s Community?

The Featured Igloo is Deanking’s igloo. It’s a log cabin that is very crowded, very cosy and I personally really like it! Be sure to check out every featured igloo when you can!

There’s a section all devoted to Club Penguin’s Coins For Change campaign which was a real success and well done to everyone who donated!

Latest News And Upcoming Events

Get ready for the very first Club Penguin music festival from 25th-30th July – Music Jam 2008! Bands everywhere are practising hard in their very own igloo venues, thanks to the latest Better Igloos Catalog. But musicians aren’t the only thing that will be needed – DJs are in demand too!

The new game looks like it has something to do with being a DJ!

On July 18th, a new selection of music for igloos was out. Now there’s the option of having music such as Fiesta, Aqua Grabber and Medieval Town!

There is now a green puffle at the ice rink but that means you cant use the puck there because the puffle is always using it!

There was a new pin out on 18th too, it is a treble clef symbol and is at the pool.

On August 1st there will be a new clothing catalog out at the Gift Shop so that penguins everywhere can be in fashion – better start saving those coins!

There will also be a new pin out on August 1st.

Oh yeah, and the upgraded mail service is out now. You can reply to buddies, trash certain postcards or if you really feel moody, remove all postcards sent my one penguin forever (although if you did that you’d be being very mean indeed!). I know the update for this stuff is a little late but I only started this website today (tee-hee lol)!

Glitches And A Few Cheats

Here are a few glitches for CP:

Freedom Of Sitting:

To do this, point your cursor whatever way you want to sit and press the ‘s’ key (make sure when you press ‘s’ that you are not typing in search bars or the CP chat bar.

 Throw A Snowball At Yourself:

Click on the snowball icon and aim where you want to fire ( to fire at yourself make sure it is quite close to your penguin). Then, instead of firing with one click, double click when you fire to fire at yourself.

Fart a snowball:

Ok, so you don’t really fart a snowball, but what you do is this: Click on the snow ball icon and aim to shoot behind your penguin. Fire the snowball and immediately after, press the ‘w’ key on your keyboard, making sure that you are not typing in any search bars or the CP chat bar. Then It’ll look like you’re waving as you fart a snowball!

Care for your puffle while you’re out:

At your igloo, click on your puffle’s player card and go to anywhere else on the island WITHOUT closing your puffle’s card. Then you can care for you puffle while you’re out!

Astrobarrier:

After level seven, shoot the blue target for an extra life, then the green one for more points. After level ten, shoot the orange square then the green target. Wait about thirty seconds for a blue ship to appear and shoot that to take yourself to the Secret Levels – this can also be done after level thirty. When any example comes up, try shooting and see what happens. But on level thirty don’t shoot the turret when you fire for the green target because you will need the turret to shoot the blue ship on that level to take you to the Secret Expert Levels!

Digital Effect:

Press the +/= key on your keyboard to toggle CP from the normal appearance to a sort of digital effect.

Find Out If Rockhopper Is Online:

When you log in, type in Rockhopper and any password. If Rockhopper is banned, he is offline, if the password is incorrect, he is online.

Namless Puffle:

Buy a puffle and when you are asked to name it, press the spacebar multiple times to give your puffle no name!

Gaming Puffles:

Whilst walking your red puffle, play Catchin Wavews and they will surf with you. Whilst walking your pink puffle, play Aqua Grabber and they will swim alongside you.

Pizzatron Candy Mode:

When you are on the main page (or if you prefer to call it so, the title page), click on the red lever and you will now play in candy mode which from my experience gets you more coins too!

Hidden Places On Your Map And In Rooms:

Click the Snow-topped Mountain in the distance for the Dojo. Click the cloud shaped thing on the right hand side of your map in the sea for the Iceberg. Click the shack behing the Plaza for the Mine Shack. At the plaza, go to the manhole cover to get to the pool and underground. In the nightclub, go to the speaker in the top right hand corner to go to the Boiler Room.

 Pull Up All The Old Newspapers:

In the newspaper filing cabinet in the Boiler Room, click on each newspaper and without letting go of your mouse, drag your mouse away from the newspaper to stand it up. To put them down again, just hover your mouse over it.

Emote Icons On Your Keyboard:

E1-A laughing face. E2-Smiley. E3 – Straight face. E4 – Frown. E5-Surprise. E6 – Sticking out tongue. E7-Wink. E8-Green sick face. E9-Red angry face. E0- Sad face. EF-Flower. EG-Game joystick. EH-Heart. EP-Puffle. EL-Four leaf clover. EC-Coffee cup. ET – Musical note and farting noise. EI-Igloo. ES-Skull. 1!-!. ?/-?. H-Hello. B-Good-bye. Y-Yes. N-No. T-Throw snowball. S-Sit. D-Dance. W- Wave.

How To Get Negative Coins:

Have 9 coins or below. Go to feed your puffle. CP will tell you that you don’t have enough coins. Now you should have negative coins. Congratulations! You are now in debt on CP! To gain back you coins just play a game and you will end up with posotive coins again.

Catch The Mullet In Ice Fishing:

When the Mullet comes along, make sure you have an ordinary orange fish on your line. The Mullet will eat the fish and you will catch the Mullet. The little video you get when you catch it is a cute touch!

A Secret Igloo:

In the igloo upgrades catalog, click on the Deluxe Snow Igloo for the Secret Delux Stone Igloo. The Secret Deluxe Stone Igloo costs 5000 coins.
